 With the theme “ Phan thiet Children – Enjoying the Mid - Autumn festival - Hard study – creative entertainment – Following Uncle Ho’s words”, the Mid – Autumn festival this year will officially  take place on the night of September 11th (August 13th in the lunar calendar) at Nguyen Tat Thanh Square and other main streets in Phan Thiet city

 With the theme “ Phan thiet Children – Enjoying the Mid - Autumn festival - Hard study – creative entertainment – Following Uncle Ho’s words”, the Mid – Autumn festival this year will officially  take place on the night of September 11th (August 13th in the lunar calendar) at Nguyen Tat Thanh Square and other main streets in Phan Thiet city.

Taking part in this festival, there will be more than 30 primary schools and secondary schools in the area of Phan Thiet city with 2.800 students. According to Mr. Vo Van Thong – Vice chairman of Phan Thiet’s People Committee, most of the school in Phan Thiet city will participate in this festival, there will be from 80 to 100 small lanterns and from 1 to 2 big lanterns which are suitable to the theme of festival.

As plan, after the opening ceremony, there will be the process of lantern through the main streets of Phan Thiet city with the distance of 2.900 meters.  The attractiveness of this festival is the colorful lanterns which are in children’s hands and the interesting unicorn performance.

Besides maintaining the traditional features and creating the safe playground for children in Phan Thiet city, the Mid-Autumn festival this year is also a enjoyable culture to lure locals and tourists all over the places in Vietnam and abroad.
* The route: Nguyen Tat Thanh Square – Turn left onto Ton Duc Thang Street – Turn left onto Thu Khoa Huan street – turn left at Phu Hai intersection onto Tran Hung Dao street – Over Tran Hung Dao bridge – Tran Hung Dao intersection – turn left onto Nguyen Du street.
