The 76th World Individual Championship 3-cushion Billiards tournament takes place from September 25 - 29 at Sea Links City (Nguyen Thong street, Phu Hai ward, Phan Thiet city) with the participation of 48 competitors. The world's top players from 26 countries. At the meeting, members expressed their opinions and agreed on 6 content groups to successfully organize the tournament: Professional - competition; Communication - promotion; Medical; Security and order; Logistics - Ceremony; Mobilize sponsorship.  Mr. Doan Tuan Anh, Tournament Director, added that up to now, all important work of the tournament has been implemented according to the content and schedule.

According to plan, the opening ceremony will take place on the morning of September 25 and the closing ceremony of the awards will take place on the evening of September 29, right after the final match ends. Before that, on the afternoon of September 24 at Sea Links City, a press conference to announce the award will take place. Besides the competition, the World Carom Billiards Federation (UMB) will hold a council meeting of its member federations. On this occasion, the Organizing Committee also agreed to choose the mascot for the tournament as "Azure Dragon" with the tournament's identity. The mascot's design was inspired by the famous dragon fruit of Binh Thuan and the joyful images of "Dragon Fruit" representing the friendliness and hospitality of coastal people.
