The mixed Contest “Swimming, running and sliding sand hill” at White Lake

.- To celebrate the 44th anniversary of the Liberation Day of Binh Thuan as well as to promote the specific type of sport of the locality in developing tourism, Bac Binh district (Binh Thuan province) will organize the 6th mixed contest "Swimming, running and sliding sand hill" times at eco-tourism site – White Lake (Hoa Thang commune, Bac Binh district) on the morning of April 20th , 2019.

.- To celebrate the 44th anniversary of the Liberation Day of Binh Thuan as well as to promote the specific type of sport of the locality in developing tourism, Bac Binh district (Binh Thuan province) will organize the 6th mixed contest "Swimming, running and sliding sand hill" times at eco-tourism site – White Lake (Hoa Thang commune, Bac Binh district) on the morning of April 20th , 2019.

The contest has 2 categories for men and women. For men, participants will swim across the White Lake (Distance: 190 meters), subdue “Virgin hill” with the distance of 1.500 meters, slide sand hill with the slope of 20 meters. For women, there will be 1.500 meters for swimming across the White Lake , sliding sand hill with a slope of 20 meters. As a rule, the participants are students, officers and armed forces in Binh Thuan as well as tourists. Competitors will compete for the prizes of individual and team.
According to Mr. Le Minh Ngau - Head of the Organization said that: “ The mixed contest “ Swimming, running and sliding sand hill” is organized to create more exciting activities to serve the needs of enjoying sports competition of local people and tourists.”
Besides introducing and promoting the unique beauty of White Lake - Eco tourism site in particular, Binh Thuan tourism in general to tourists, the contest "Swimming, running and sliding sand hill" at White Lake is organized annually to orientate Binh Thuan province to become a national sea sports center according to the project "Developing island and coastal areas in Vietnam to the year of 2020" approved by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.

Mr. Huynh Ngoc Tam - Deputy Director of Binh Thuan Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism explain more: “According to the project of developing sea and island tourism in Vietnam, Phan Thiet city is a national urban. Mui Ne is a national tourism site in the South Central Coast. Along with the orientation of market development and creating products which are typical for the region, Phan Thiet - Binh Thuan is prioritized to develop the typical marine tourism products, including sea sport. Mui Ne is the place to build national tourism-sports center. "
Apart from the sea sports to serve the needs of sightseeing, entertainment and competition for tourists to maintain tourism development, Binh Thuan will continue exploiting and promoting the potentials and advantages of the sea, climate, landscape and terrain to organize many typical sports to attract tourists.
