Unique culinary competition showcasing Indian flavors

Recently, at Radisson Resort (Tien Thanh commune, Phan Thiet city), the Indian Trade and Cultural Exchange Organization (CD Foundation) coordinated with the Indian Consulate General in Ho Chi Minh City, Radisson Resort and Guests. The Park Hyderabad hotel organizes an Indian Cuisine competition.

The contest attracts Vietnamese and Indian chefs and "cooking" lovers living in Phan Thiet City and Ho Chi Minh City to register to participate. According to the representative of the Organizing Committee, with the meaning of enhancing cultural exchange as well as bringing many experiences to the chefs and participating contestants, the Indian Cuisine Competition was held for the first time in Phan city. Thiet hopes to open up many opportunities for cooperation and culinary exchange between India and Vietnam in general and Phan Thiet - Binh Thuan in particular in the coming time, contributing to creating more attractions to attract Indian tourists to come. In the first time it was held, the Indian Cuisine Contest brought a surprise to the contestants as the topic was only revealed right before the competition with the content of the contest: "Preparing Indian cuisine from ingredients." is sea bass caught from Phan Thiet waters." The jury relied on criteria such as creativity, skill in handling ingredients, not causing waste, art of dish decoration and hygiene in the kitchen area to select the winning dishes.

With a contest duration of 60 minutes, the contest atmosphere was extremely exciting and attractive. The pressure of time does not reduce the speed and creativity of the contestants in preparing Indian dishes, from calibration, seasoning or combining ingredients and spices to make them harmonious and delicious. to ensure the nutritional value and artistic and beautiful decoration of the dish. With different styles, the contestants have created and enhanced the contest products, very harmonious and complete in both color and flavor of Vietnamese - Indian cuisine. At the end of the contest, the jury selected 3 delicious and unique dishes with the highest scores to award prizes. Especially, the authors of the 3 highest ranked dishes are all chefs working in Phan Thiet - Binh Thuan.
